Children need to learn positive thinking as they grow up. The earlier they learn that they can do something the better. It takes us as parents to assist our children with thinking positive, but ultimately it is up to them to complete their goals.
Never tell children that they can’t do something or they’ll never get it done right. This is negative talk and their brains will catch on to that very quick. Children need to learn that with effort they can achieve whatever they set their minds to. Teach them the value of mind-set and how it works.
Let children no matter what know that they will learn to do what they really want. They need to know that mistakes happen and next time they can try it a different way.
Children can be mean when they are going up by saying things and not realizing that it could hurts their friend’s feelings. If you hear a child telling another that they are stupid say something positive to them by telling the child that it was just a mistake and can be changed. Explain that no one is stupid; we learn by making mistakes.
Teach children that they are somebody and can achieve goals just like everyone else. Have contest with a group of children. Be sure that every wins something for trying to win. Whatever effort they put into it is a goal for them.
Our brains learn what they hear. When we hear negative things about us all the time we begin to program our brain to think negative. Later on in time the brain will tell us in self-talk that we can’t do something and low and behold we won’t achieve what we want.
As children hear their subconscious telling them negative things they will begin to lose their self-esteem and confidence that they can’t do something so why try to finish or do better. Children are what we teach them.
Teach your children to think positive by encouraging them to keep trying that they can do it in time with practice. Practice makes perfect and positive thinking will teach them they can and will be successful in whatever they want.
We need to think positive in order to teach our children to use positive thinking in self-talk. We need to talk positive to ourselves and them to teach them self-confidence and awareness.
Teach children to use positive thinking when making decisions. If they make the wrong decision discuss it with them and explain that they make a mistake. Talk to them and explain that they should have done this and why. If it doesn’t work they should know and realize that they can try to do differently again.
Children have to like themselves to make good decisions in their lives. If they don’t like themselves they won’t care that they are gaining weight, or why learn something in school if they make a mistake someone might laugh at them. This is negative thinking here and they need to know that negative thinking is not good.
Positive thinking will get your children a long way by helps them learn and think out things in school. Making the decision of what occupation field they want to go for a big area and a hard one to decide. They need to know that you are behind them in making their decision and if it doesn’t work out than they can try another field.
Teach your children to use positive thinking and self talk and they will go along way in this world today.
